Joined ASPIRE: 2017 In prehistoric times I worked as an ICU nurse, then Assistant Head Nurse, in a Surgical Trauma ICU in Northwest Detroit. After rotating through dialysis and plasmapheresis for a couple years, I obtained my MS is Nurse Anesthesiology from Mercy College of Detroit (now UDM). After graduation I worked for 10 years at Oakwood Hospital (Dearborn, MI) as a staff CRNA, clinical instructor, and as a member of the closed heart team. I moved to St. Mary Mercy in 2000, and have loved working as a CRNA, clinical instructor, and as Anesthesia Clinical Quality Reviewer.
