MPOG App Suite Release – December 2024
How to apply the upgrade:
The upgrade package will be sent to each site’s IT contact.
• For sites using Desktop Virtualization (e.g. Citrix), your IT team will upgrade the App
Suite.
• For sites where the App Suite is installed on PCs, your IT team will distribute the installer
to all individuals after the database upgrade has been applied. Once you have received
the installer from your IT team, follow the install instructions here.
DATA TYPES
•
Patient Attributes, allowing for greater detail in patient demographic information, is
now available. This is optional and may require a supplemental extract. You will not see
data in these categories unless your site opts to extract this new data type for
submission to MPOG.
DATA DIAGNOSTICS
•
Added new diagnostic for Anesthesia Assistants
•
Retired old individual airway diagnostics in favor of a single combined airway diagnostic
•
Updated various diagnostics with new lab unit concepts

Updated concepts in H&P section

Fixed bug where “Case Linked” column in the Pro Fee Diagnosis section under the
Administrative tab did not display correctly

Propofol infusion in the case chart are now converted to display in mg instead of mcg

Added Microbiology tab. This is optional and may require a supplemental extract. You
will not see microbiology data unless your site opts to extract this new data type for
submission to MPOG.

Removing header metadata has been increased to 50 rows

Fixed bugs related to changes in the STS harvest file

Examine button now includes a “fast mode” setting for sites with large variable counts.

Results are random instead of being most recent.

Upload protocol has been revised. Out of memory issues should be less of an issue.

Users no longer need to select an upload destination for uploading to TEST vs. PROD
