Description
ASPIRE Collaborative brings together professionals in the state of Michigan to discuss quality
measures and improvement. This activity will provide physicians the tools to identify and treat
postpartum hemorrhage. Additionally, this activity will lead to more physician engagement and
implementation of anesthesiology quality improvement measures. After this activity, participants
will appropriately manage intraoperative blood pressure Choose the correct vasopressor during
surgery Implement measures to address gaps in organizational performance Utilize
anesthesiology quality improvement measures implemented in 2022-2023.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this activity, participant should be able to:
1. Understand how MPOG Web Case Viewer can be utilized in quality improvement
2. Learn how other institutions use MPOG Quality Improvement to improve patient care at
their institution
3. Appropriately manage intraoperative blood pressure
4. Understand the relationship between intraoperative hypotension and outcomes
5. Identify how to choose the correct vasopressor during surgery
6. Discuss opportunities to improve anesthesia care by assessment of outcomes and
processes of care
